I love this place!! Always a must when we go to Alamogordo. Cleanest restrooms ever!! You do have to make a purchase in order to use the restroom, I always buy the apple cider and some candy.
This is an awesome stop every time I drive to Cloudcroft (& beyond) from Laredo, Texas. There's something for everyone here, young or old. Mr. Runyan is fun to talk to & very friendly to everyone. The animals are interesting and people-friendly, and yes, the bathrooms are about the cleanest you will encounter anywhere on a road trip. The beautiful nearby Rio Penasco is amazingly beautiful, and the big trees at the Runyan Farm are very welcoming in the hot summer months. Do yourself & your family a BIG favor and stop by this place, even if you have to go a little out of your way - you won't be disappointed!
Really neat stop. They have awesome salsas and jams for sale. They also have a neat petting zoo where you can feed various animals and go fishing for catch and release trout.
